Hashtags allow easier searching and categorisation of your records.
If they are enabled in your system, you will see the Hashtag Library in your Menu.
The Hashtag Library will give you an overview of hashtags being used in the system.
Hashtags have been enabled on Organisations and Applications.
Grant Managers are able to enter hashtags from the administration tab on those records.
Note: Hashtags are case sensitive. Use spaces to seperate multiple tags.
Organisation hashtags
Here is an example to classify types of organisations.
You could add a tag such as #council, #dontfund or #school to an organisation.
From the default organisation list, a grant manager can search for hashtags in the search field and easily find all organisations that have that hashtag.
Start typing the name of the tag in the search field and it will suggest matching tags.
All organisations with the tag will be displayed.
Application hashtags
Application tags work in the same way as the organisation tags. They allow you to classify applications with terms that you may want to search for in the future.
An example may be that you have been asked to present the board with details of funding that has been provided to art in rural areas.
If you had tagged all the rural art projects with #ruralart you will be able to do a simple search from the Default list.
Start typing the name of the tag in the search field and it will suggest matching tags.
All applications with the tag will be displayed.
Tip: Make sure you are using the Default List when searching.
